Casey Community Health Service Casey Community Health Services are located at :-
Berwickwide Community Health Service was formed in 1994 following amalgamation of Doveton-Hallam Endeavour Hills and Narre Warren-Berwick Community Health Services. Doveton-Hallam had been providing services for over 20 years. Its primary catchment area is the former City of Berwick, now part of the City of Casey.
Resources are allocated to ensure this strong health promotion focus, including research, education, community action, structural change and information provision. Programs include diabetes education, dental, alcohol, drug and family counselling, with family violence services focussed on both victim and perpetrators. Some services are offered in co-operation with neighbouring Centres. Co-located services include optometry, Linkages, gambling and family counselling. Casey Community Health Service is committed to best practice and has developed a quality assurance program that analyses all programs prior to implementation, evaluating impact and process. Mechanisms such as file audits, staff appraisal and co-operative planning ensure continuous quality improvement. |
