Carer's Support Group

CARERS WANTED ! ! !

Caring for someone at home can be mentally and physically exhausting. Giving carers a short break and an opportunity to meet other carers from the community are some of the aims of the new carers’ group established by Dandenong Community Health Service.

Guest speakers are invited during these monthly meetings to discuss various carer issues and concerns. To end each session, participants are encouraged to let their hair down and join in the singing, dancing, relaxation, massage or exercise. Social outings is another group activity that is done on a regular basis.

For more information, please contact Grace Hernandez (Community Health Nurse) on 87922264
