Health Information Services (HIS)

operates a 24 hour, seven days per week service for Southern Health.

HIS provides Medical Records services to Southern Health. GPs may contact HIS (Medical Information Desk) to request patient information related to care they have received at Southern Health by phone or fax.

All such requests must be accompanied with the patient’s written consent.
