- mental health through hospital, community and outreach services
- chronic disease management
- primary care through community health centres
- prevention and early intervention.
Our hospitals include Monash Medical Centre Clayton, Monash Medical Centre Moorabbin, Dandenong Hospital, Casey Hospital, the Kingston Centre and Cranbourne Integrated Community Care Centre.
Our community health centres are located in Berwick, Cockatoo, Cranbourne, Dandenong, Doveton, Pakenham and Springvale.
Our specialties include paediatrics, cardiology, women's health, kidney and pancreas transplants and neonatal intensive care. Through our university affiliations we are a major provider of education and training for the next generation of health professionals and the major clinical partner in research that is advancing knowledge and clinical care.
Meeting the special needs of our diverse community, which includes socio-economically disadvantaged and culturally and linguistically diverse people, is a priority.
We celebrate our multicultural community as the source of both our consumers and our staff.
We are keen to challenge and stretch ourselves in the search for new knowledge through research and we are committed to training the next generation of health professionals.
We are passionate in our desire to lead, develop, improve our services and to grow. Consumers, carers and the community can play a significant role in this growth.
