Projects
As part of our committment to Arts in Health there are a number of special projects that we undertake from time to time that involve our communities as well as arts professionals.
CURRENT PROJECTS
1. New Dandenong Emergency Department - Waiting Room Art Installation
The new Dandenong Emergency facility has been designed by Bates Smart Architects. It is expected that this facility will open in October of 2010. This was a project that we put to tender requesting submissions of artwork proposals that sort to improve the waiting room experience, reduce stress and act as a diversion for staff, patients and visitors who used the area. The designated are fo the installation is the area above the seating zone in the main waiting room.
The winning entrant was a collaboration between artist Aliey Ball and lighting designer Marc Pascal who are also working with an Arts Access group of artists through ERMHA. As the project progresses we will up date the images on the project details page.
