Support Arts in Health

The ongoing costs associated with running our art program are not covered by the Health dollar.

The management, display and conservation of our collection is dependent on the generosity of private individuals and business, as well as organisational grants and funding.

We welcome gifts or contributions of any kind so that we can continue to improve the health environment for the benefit of patients, staff and visitors alike.

The Southern Health Art Gallery has DGR (Deductible Gift Recipent) status with the ATO. This allows us to accept artworks and other cultural gifts, whilst providing the donor with a tax deduction refelctive of market value for the item donated.

For further information on the Cultural Gifts Program see: www.arts.gov.au/tax_incentives/cgp

Would you like to sponsor an art work or hanging space?

This is a lovely way to acknowledge, respect and remember.  Perhaps in memory of a loved one or in thanks for the care recieved by a family member. Artworks sponsored will be accompanied by a plaque that with your acknowledgement that will hang in a prominent public area within a SH site. Alternatively, sponsoring an art display area or hanging space allows us to ensure we have suitable lighting and hanging facilities which we can maintain in the area.

You can also support us by coming along to events and participating. Join Southern Health's Art Beat and become part of a valued community that support the arts in health. Receive event invitations, news listings and exhibition details.
