Cancer can be prevented too

As a major provider of cancer services to our community, Southern Health supports the World Health Organisation and International Union Against Cancer's annual community awareness campaign.

This year's theme focuses on simple measures to help prevent cancer such as:
  • stop tobacco use and avoid exposure to second-hand smoke
  • maintain a healthy weight through healthy eating and regular exercise
  • limited alcohol use
  • avoid excessive sun exposure
  • protect against cancer-causing infections
You can pass on the message to people you love with these e-cards created by the World Cancer Campaign
