I have been a volunteer at Monash Medical Centre Clayton for 23 years. For the last nine years I have been assisting the children who use the play room on 41 North. I help set up the playroom for the children and welcome the families and also help clean the toys and make new play dough every week. I look forward to coming in each week. I find it very rewarding to work with the children, often the kids want to talk to you and it’s nice to cheer them up during their hospital stay.
