Ms Yeoh was a long standing member of the Board of Eastern Health until June 2009. She is Director of the Melba Conservatorium of Music and Trustee of the Melba Opera Trust, Director of the Victoria State Emergency Service, Chair of the Civil Aviation Safety Authority Audit Committee, Chair of the ACT Treasury Investment Advisory Board, Member of the Gambling and Lotteries Licence Review Panel (Victoria) and Member of the Statutory Fishing Rights Allocation Review Panel (Commonwealth). Ms Yeoh is a Principal Associate of PhillipsKPA. 

Mr David Cowlishaw

Mr Cowlishaw is currently Chair of the Dandenong Development Board. He retired from the National Australia Bank in 2001 following an extensive and varied career. His senior appointments included: District Manager Metropolitan Melbourne, Head of Credit Victoria and Tasmania, General Manager of the National Australia Bank’s US operations based in New York, Managing Director National Australia Trustees.

Mr Charles Gillies

Mr Charles Gillies is co-founder of Jolimont Capital which specialises in investing in technology companies. These companies are generally Australian based and compete in fast moving, highly competitive technology markets. As an active investor himself his approach has been to work closely with management to develop a plan to create economic value. He has been Director and Chairman of a number of investments and has worked closely with CEOs and management teams, developing strategies, setting objectives and performance targets.

Mr David Taylor

After heading BankWest Business Bank until 1999, Mr Taylor  has progressed a career in corporate governance with appointments to the boards of listed and unlisted public companies and government business enterprises, including Chair of the Western Australia Forest Products Commission from 2006-2009.

 

Ms Debbie Williams, MBA, ME, BCom, GAICD

Member of the Finance Committee; Member of the Primary Care and Population Health Advisory Committee
Ms Williams is a health care strategy consultant who brings extensive experience in health care management, corporate governance, business strategy management, mental health management and financial management. Ms Williams is a member of the Board of the Inner East Mental Health Services Association and Chair of its Board's Finance and Risk Management Committee.

 Dr Errol Katz

Dr Errol Katz returns to Southern Health as a Board member, having been a medical student at Monash Medical Centre Clayton. His recent experience includes working at The Boston Consulting Group and Visy Industries and being a Board member and Chair of the Population Health Committee at Dental Health Services Victoria.

 

Ms Helen Owens, BEc (Hons), MEc


Chair, Primary Care and Population Health Advisory Committee; Member, Board Quality Committee

Ms Owens, a health economist and health policy consultant, is currently a member of the Victorian Cancer Agency. Previous positions held include full-time Commissioner on the Productivity Commission, part-time member of the Commonwealth Grants Commission, expert strategic advisor to the Victorian Department of Premier and Cabinet on health reform and casemix consultant to the Australian Healthcare and Hospitals Association. Academic positions at Monash and Melbourne universities have included Associate Professor and Deputy Director of the National Centre for Health Program Evaluation.

 Ms Linda Perry

Ms Perry has worked for more than 20 years in leadership roles within the professional services industry in both audit and business development and marketing.  She is a Chartered Accountant and auditor with skills in finance, audit and risk management and corporate governance.  Ms Perry has worked at Deloitte for 14 years and is currently employed as Partner at BDO.

Mr Ross Whyte McClymont is a partner of one of Australia's largest law firms, Blake Dawson, practising in the area of restructuring and insolvency. He leads the firm's Melbourne practise team in this area, and has worked on some of Australia's largest and most complex insolvency administrations over the last 15 years, including most recently Allco, Timbercorp, Great Southern and the Colorado Group.
