We offer nurses and midwives the opportunity to work at the cutting edge of modern medicine. We are the only healthcare facility in Victoria providing, all within one facility , a ‘quaternary’ level of care with:
- adult intensive care
- neonatal intensive care
- paediatric surgical services
Education
We provide a range of educational activities focused on keeping our clinicians abreast of the dynamic changes in the clinical areas of the organisation. We promote evidence-based practice and competencies of nurses and mdwives.Our commitment is to provide education programs which are innovative and address the needs of nurses and midwives by:
- allowing staff to refresh current knowledge and skills or gain new knowledge and skills
- allowing staff to become competent, with up to date evidence based knowledge and skills
- encouraging staff retention and attract nursing staff in terms of recruitment
