Pain medicine
| Description of the services | The clinic will consult and treat all patients with pain as their primary disease or as a significant symptom of another disease process. This includes post-injury and post-surgical pain, persistent pain after injury or surgery, pain associated with cancer or chronic disease states. The clinic will be multidisciplinary with specialists from Anaesthesia, Psychological Medicine, Neurology and others |

Patients actively being treated by other pain clinics or doctors specialising in pain medicine. |
| GP Investigations to be performed | Especially with complex long-standing cases, it is requested that the referral letter includes an up-to-date list of medicines with a list (including contacts) of all health care professionals involved and a list of all treatments tried/performed whether successful or not. It will also increase efficiency if you send reports at least of all investigations that have been performed. |
| Cost | No charge for Medicare card holder, Veteran Affairs, TAC or Work cover patients. A charge does apply for Patients ineligible for Medicare No patients are charged out of pocket expenses |
