Evaluation Service

The Evaluation Service was established in 2009 with the goal of building an evaluative culture across Southern Health. Its role is to encourage and support staff to plan and conduct rigorous and comprehensive evaluations that will enhance evidence-informed decision-making across the organisation.

There are six key components of the Evaluation Service:

  • advice and support for planning and conducting evaluations
  • register of external evaluation consultants
  • evaluation tools and resources
  • evaluation training and education
  • evaluation knowledge network for staff
  • evaluation activity database

Southern Health staff can find out more about the Evaluation Service on the intranet.
