Southern Health offers a Graduate Nurse Program which will support you in an educational and clinical environment as you make the exciting transition from student to registered nurse.
Two general graduate nurse programs are offered:

Our clinical support includes:
• Clinical Nurse Educators associated with each unit
• Preceptor allocation for each rotation
• Supernumerary time for each rotation.
Our educational support includes:
• Comprehensive orientation and induction program
• Paid Graduate Nurse Program dedicated study days
• Graduate Nurse Program specific tutorials / debrief sessions
• Simulation Centre training
• Access to Southern Health in-service programs and short courses.
At Southern Health we offer the option of either full time (1.0EFT) or part time (0.8EFT, 4 days/week) employment in your graduate year, with the opportunity for employment after successful completion of your graduate program.
