Allambee Nursing Home

Features

Allambee is a home for 35 highcare residents who need specialist mental health services. A specialist referral is required for Allambee (see further information below).

  • spacious lounge and dining areas
  • large activity areas
  • onsite hairdresser
  • kiosk and gift shop
  • chapel and pastoral care
  • visiting dentist, podiatrist, physiotherapists and other allied health professionals
  • lifestyle program

Referral

Referrals come from Community Aged Persons Mental Health teams and Aged Persons Mental Health acute care services.

Residents may also be referred from other residential aged care homes if specialist care or behavioural needs arise.

Once the resident is deemed not to require the specialty care of our Aged Persons Mental Health, plans a developed with the family and carers to establish alternate permanent care arrangements.
