Counselling
Psychologists, social workers and nurse family therapists offer counselling, both in community health centres and through home visits. Specific counselling to adults is also provided.
Counselling is available for:

- sexual assault

- parenting
- separation

Eligibility criteria
Women and men aged between 25 and 64 years.
Waiting list
Staying In Touch (SIT) worker will contact client within 2 weeks to advise of waiting list times.

Who's in charge?
An eight week educational/therapeutic program for parents whose children are abusive towards them or beyond their control. Run jointly with Connections.Contact: Eddie Gallagher, psychologist - 5941 0580
Out of sight and out of mind
A program focusing on improving service provision for women with disabilities experiencing family violence. Program has involved working in partnership with family violence and disability services in the Shire of Cardinia and the City of Casey Building awareness and focusing on best practice service provision.Contact: Lucy Wickham - 5990 6138
Making changes for women
The making changes program is a holistic group program offering early support, structured education and help with moving on. Groups are facilitated by peers and professional staff.Contact: information and appointment service - 8768 5147
Bereavement support
A group providing information and encouraging discussion, understanding and supportive care amongst people who have bereaved within the past two years. Learn how to cope with grief and bereavement and find ways of both remembering and moving on.Contact: information and appointment service - 8768 5147
Women in nurturing group support – Cockatoo site only
