The Elliotts join Love Your Heart Day

Exciting Melbourne band The Elliotts have confirmed their support for MonashHeart's Love Your Heart Day next Tuesday February 14 with a special performance at Monash Medical Centre Clayton at 12pm.

Band member Clinton Elliott said the group were looking forward to the big day. “Thanks to Love Your Heart Day we can now draw on Valentine ’s Day as a reminder to make sure your heart is in good working order. It's a great cause that we are proud to be a part of."

MonashHeart Director Professor Ian Meredith encouraged everyone to get along to the performance.

"The band is clearly committed to raising awareness of Australia's biggest killer, heart disease, and we are thrilled to have them on board.  We are looking forward to their performance."

The Elliotts were first heard in Melbourne at a BBQ at Molly Meldrum’s place - which resulted in Robbie and Clinton Elliott signing a recording contract with Reform Records. The band grew to include the talents of Ash Joy, James Howlett and Daniel Bicanski. At the start of 2011 the band recorded in Los Angeles with producer Matt Beckley who holds production credits for Avril Lavigne & Justin Beiber.
Their acoustic live show features four-part harmonies, catchy guitar riffs and pop-keyboard scapes. It is an engaging, natural and inspiring musical experience showcasing home-grown songs.
