 Southern Health is the core health service partner in the Monash Health Translation Precinct.

Through the partnership some 400 scientific and clinical staff and more than 200 post graduates are engaged in basic and clinical research.

The partners’ focus is on rapidly bringing the benefits of new scientific discoveries to patients and advancing the health of the community in the priority areas of cancer, inflammation, neurosciences, men’s health, women’s health, cardiovascular disease, endocrine / metabolism disorders and paediatrics.

News: $71 million funding to expand facilities

Southern Health Chief Executive Shelly Park and Professor John Funder, Director of Research Strategy at Southern Health welcome a Federal Government Budget commitment for a $71 million expansion of facilities at the Monash Health Research Precinct.
