Emergency departments

Southern Health has three Emergency Departments: Monash Medical Centre (Clayton campus), Dandenong Hospital and Casey Hospital. We treat over 150,000 emergency patients per annum.

Patients entering the Health Service through any Emergency Department have access to the full range of treatment options. However, not all services are available at every campus. Depending on the patient’s needs they may require transferring to a campus where that specialty is based to continue treatment.
