Who is the South East Advocacy and Support Service for?
South East Advocacy and Support Service (SEAS) is for people who are older and have a disability or health problems.
We help people who have insecure living conditions which may include:
- Caravan parks
- Boarding houses
- Supported residential services
- Public housing or renting
SEAS is for people who live in the following areas:
- Casey
- Cardinia
- Greater Dandenong
What kind of help does SEAS provide?
There are many services available.
We can help you sort things out if you are worried about things like:
- Your health
- Managing to live on your income or pension
- Getting along with other people
- Getting to see a doctor, dentist or other health professional
- Where you live
- Managing your day-to-day life
These are some of the things we can do:
- Talk things over with you
- Tell you about services that may be helpful
- Speak up for you
- Help you get the assistance you need
- Help you keep on top of things
- Be there to help you sort things out
Working together to help you
SEAS works with a range of service providers in the community, including:
- Home help
- Personal care
- Delivered meals
- Social support
- Home maintenance
- Housing support agencies
- Doctors, dentists and health care providers
- Proprietors of supported residential services, caravan parks and boarding houses
