Refugee Health Clinics
Southern health has two multidisciplinary clinic to meet the Infectious Diseases, maternal and child health and psychiatric needs of the refugee population in the Greater Dandenong area. Clinic objectives are improved health outcomes close follow up and treatment of communicable and psychiatric disease and to divert chronic and complex care from hospital inpatient admissions.

There is a hospital-based Refugee Health Service based in the Dandenong Hospital outpatients precinct, and a community centre based service at the Doveton Community Health Centre. Both clinics run on Mondays between 1.30 - 5.30pm.
